Lireas is the strategic investment company of Hannover Re Africa which holds the majority stake in Lireas and provides our investee agencies with access to “A+” rated reinsurance capacity. Our minority shareholder, Mahogany Private Equity, provides Lireas with strategic direction and corporate finance expertise.
Lireas has a unique business model enabling us to provide our partners access to finance, a variety of credible insurance partners as well as access to reinsurance. No other business in the South African market is able to subscribe to such a dynamic business model.
